  1. Can you give us some ideas about what would be effective subjects? Is this a meeting strictly about client care? Or expanded services to clients (dentistry, special wheel chairs)? Or expanded services to the mental health community? Or environmental use of the land?

I want to say the right things to the officials. No point talking about the environment if these officials only deal with budgets.

Thanks for your help with this!

    • This is a full-day public hearing “on the transformation of the Sonoma Developmental Center,” so not necessarily a meeting. The hearing is required by law in order to take testimony from stakeholders, without any obligatory response from the DDS, for inclusion in the closure plan to be submitted to the legislature on October 1.

Therefore, all subjects are effective subjects. We need to show the DDS Sonoma County’s concern.
